Maleah's Birthday

Well, today is Maleah's first birthday. I can't believe it has already been that long since she was born! It honestly seems like just a couple of months ago. So far we are having a typical quiet day at home, although I did give her a couple of her birthday presents from Corey and I. We will be having a party for her on Saturday night so I will post some pictures from that later.

She LOVES to put coins in her piggy bank that Grandma W. got for her- she sat for about 10 minutes doing this and got mad at me when I took it away! :)

Maleah got to try her first chocolate chip cookie on Monday. She definitely liked it!

Our Busy Weekend

This past weekend was fairly busy. On Saturday Becky and I drove to Willmar to pick up her new puppy- her name is Mocha, and she is SO cute and tiny! Then on Sunday we went to Megan and Eric's house in Owatonna for dinner. Eric got to come home from Iraq for a couple of weeks, so it was really nice to see him. Unfortuneately he has to go back sometime in the next week, but he will be home again this summer. I just realized I didn't get any pictures of him (or of much else for that matter). But you can see we did get one game of Catan in, of course! And Maleah was enthralled with Anna- when she wasn't crying for mommy to come hold her, she was following Anna around the house. I think they will be good buddies soon!

For some reason I can't get videos to load on here right anymore, so I guess I'll have to stick with pictures. Here are a few more random ones of Maleah from the past couple of days. I am really enjoying staying home with Maleah now, and am so thankful that God answered our prayers and made it possible for me to quit my job. It definitely takes some sacrifices, but they are completely worth it!
