Eight Weeks to Go! (hopefully)

Only eight weeks until my due date, March 27! I can't believe we have less than 2 months to go. We got our crib last weekend, and just finished putting it together tonight. Now we are waiting for our dresser and bedding to come in. Phil painted the baby room when they were home for Christmas, and it looks really good! It is hard to tell in these pictures, but the walls are light green. I figured I should get a belly shot too, since I haven't been too good about those so far!

Macy's Christmas Display

While Jeremy and Jo and Phil and Holly were here, we went to the Macy's Christmas display in downtown Minneapolis. They did Mary Poppins this year. It was an extremely long wait (I posted a picture of us standing in line)- I think we were in line for about an hour and a half. The display itself only took about 10 minutes to go through, so it was a little bit disappointing, but we still had a good time.

The Annual Hollister Dice Game

On Saturday night we went to Corey's parents house for the annual dice game party. We had lots of fun, and ended up with a lot of stuff.




Corey got a Lego Ferrari- he started putting it together right away.

Thanksgiving

We got to spend Thanksgiving weekend in Ohio with the whole family (except for Megan, Eric, and Anna- we missed them!). It is always fun when we all can get together because it doesn't happen very often.

On Saturday night Jeremy got a fire going and we made s'mores.


Noelle seems to really like Corey a lot- she was always wanting to sit on his lap!

Noelle was great with Ryan (she called him "baby"). Ryan loved to sit and watch the train go around the Christmas tree!

It's a Girl!

I'm sure most of you already know this, but Corey and I found out a couple of weeks ago that we are having a baby girl (of course, there is always the possibility of a surprise on delivery day, but we are pretty confident that she is a she :) ). So now that we know, we are getting excited to start decorating her room. We are still not totally sure on a name, but we have a couple of possibilities in mind. If anyone comes across a super cute name, tell me, 'cuz I am still looking!

I Finally Won!!

Monica finally let me buy a truck! Now all I have to do is give her a backrub every day! :)

The Great Minnesota Fair!!

Last Sunday Becky, Megan, Anna, Corey and I went to the Minnesota State Fair.

I went to a wedding on Saturday and met up with Coach Halsted, my basketball coach from Pillsbury. After the wedding she came over to our house for a little while. It was really nice to talk with her- she is always a big encouragement to me. :)




On Sunday we drove down to Owatonna for a picnic that Megan put together. Eric will be leaving for basic training on Wednesday, so it was kind of a going away party for him. Besides for the rain and mosquitos, we had a lot of fun.

About a week ago we had my parents and most of my brothers and sisters over(we missed Jeremy and Phil!) for dinner and games.
